Pirate's Inn, hotel in Bridgetown

Located 3.1 mi from downtown Bridgetown and 3 minutes from Accra Beach, this 2-story inn features a large courtyard with pool and deck. Free Wi-FI is offered in all areas.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent -next door to a mini mart, ATM, Burger King and KFC. The beach was a short walk as were many other dining options. The pool on the property was clean and well maintained. The grounds were nice -trees, plants and some shade. The balcony we had overlooked the pool. This was our favorite place to stay in Barbados. Would definitely recommend.

Lanterns mall was decent with a variety of stores but most were closed. I had delivered from seven oh 11, not very good, food was extremely spicy. I would reccommend maybe staying in a different location from worthing, Christ Church.

We were really disappointed to see that the Waterfront was all boarded up and were informed that there was a regeneration plan for this area. We hope that it will be done for when we return. It gets very hot in town so a quick dash to shops and then back to the beach. Could do with some more fun shops and not just duty free stores. Also some nice restaurants would be beneficial.

Ate in a gorgeous beachfront restaurant about 10 min walk from resort. Easy to get around on foot. Town centre is very small. Not much to see historically. Parliament building wasn't sign posted. Beaches were nice.

Good hotel charging a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good location. Short walk from many amenities. The room had everything required. It was sizeable and very comfortable. It was a shame the restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment.

I am not sure if we got the same room we booked.

I am not sure if we got the same room we booked. There were rooms with balcony but we were given one without a balcony. My husband said he visited there before and it was a much better place. We were told that the place had new owners, so that could be the difference. We did enjoy having breakfast close to the beach which was the highlight of our visit. The water at the beach was a little rough during our stay, but it was a pretty site to watch the boats go out on the water. It was easy to get around. I did go to the market place where I purchased some fruits, bread and souvenirs, but I don't think we would return there anytime soon.

Barbadians are one of the most warm and friendly , homely people. They quickly help you to forget you are a tourist more of a royalty. So willing to help. Love to be able to just have transport from Worthing and the hotel strips to go anywhere. You feel safe, but still always be on your guard in any country you visit.

I like the beach and the hotel provided beach chair and umbrellas for their customers, the location is great as it is easy to get public transportation and the taxi service is next door to the hotel, the room amenities are not great, they give you coffee and tea and a coffee pot and electric water kettle. There is one ice machine for the whole floor so if you are far from the ice machine you have a long walk. The hotel needs better light the lobby is dark and the lights in the rooms are very dull. The room are fair but not overly appealing.

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The bistro (same management) on the beach is good. It’s in a lovely quiet spot between the acres of pay-for sunliungers nearer town and the big hotels at the S end of the bay. It’s an easy swim from the beach to the wrecks that are mobbed with tours from about 10am. The rooms are basic but everything works. It’s about a 25 minute walk into the middle of Bridgetown. Go along the beach, the road is busy and foot way often blocked.

Although this hotel is pricey for what you get its better than doing self catering because Barbados is expensive. The cocktails are great, service good, food is as you'd expect from all inclusive but in general good and plenty of it. The resort is small and in a private bay and very few kids which is what we liked. Special mention to Tyrese who is a great young guy and an asset to the hotel.

This was a beautiful property, hidden away in the midst of Bridgetown. The rooms were spacious, the staff were lovely, the pool, although small was a little oasis. The complimentary massage was greatly appreciated. We had a late flight departure from Barbados and the staff were very accommodating in allowing us to shower in one of the spa rooms prior to our flight.

The beach is BEAUTIFUL and only a few yards from the rooms. The hotel is easy to find and only about twenty minutes from the airport. The staff is super helpful and nice. Jah was really friendly and helped us learn a lot about the island. The restaurant is right on the beach so you can have food and drinks under the tent or brought to your beach chair!

The hotel is located nicely on the beach and has good amenities. It is located in a quite area so it’s perfect if you want to stay away from the busy areas. Breakfast was good and the food/drinks by the pool as well. There was some good entertainment by the pool too. Best part of it all is waling up to the ocean view

We only stayed one night in transit for another Island so being near to the airport was a priority. This is not a 5 star hotel but the staff were very helpful and the room and gardens/pool could not have been cleaner. It would be a good base for others staying longer, nice beach, well located to walk out in the evening.

This is a hotel that trains people how to run a hotel. They are doing a good job. Breakfast was included and good. The hotel is walking distance from the beach, and the beach is wonderful. There is a boardwalk with paintings. Don't miss it. I would return to this place as it is an excellent stop over.

Great location, mid way between Bridgetown and airport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Right on almost a private beach, and a beautiful palm tree outlook. Well stocked kitchenette and good supermarkets nearby. Rooms large and welcoming. Would stay again in preference to any other Barbados hotel.

Silvester, the host, was very accommodating and could not do enough for you. The property is close enough to Bridgetown to walk to but is also not far from a bus stop if you prefer not to walk! There were a couple of shops (including a bakery and supermarket) near to the property.

No breakfast was available. The location is across from Acra Beach which is ideal, however, the property is a disaster as is the management. Signage was poor even though the property is next door to the Blue Horizon Hotel. Several Taxi drivers could not locate the apartments.

Nice low-key hotel right on the beach. Our room was downstairs, perhaps 75 feet from the water. It had a full kitchen—everything but the food, and there was a large grocery store within walking distance. Good price, and very helpful manager. I’d stay there anytime!
